2020 Masters Tournament Winner – Tiger Woods

There’s not many golfing fans around the world that wouldn’t want to see Tiger Woods win his fifth Masters Tournament.

He’s a great chance to do it this year for a number of reasons, the first being his past success at Augusta. The Georgian course, considered as one of the best in the world, isn’t easy to play but Woods knows every nook and cranny about the Par 72 course.

Despite having not won a major since winning the 2008 US Open on one leg, Tiger has come back in style with a win in the PGA Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club. That win gave the great man belief that he could attempt to catch Jack Nicklaus’ major-winning record.

In four 2019 strokeplay tournaments, Woods hasn’t finished worse than 30th and that includes a top-10 finish in the WGC-Mexico.

He’s paying +1400 to win and bettors will get good value for their money.

2020 Masters Top 10 Pick – Jon Rahm

The feisty Spaniard isn’t the easiest player to follow but there’s no doubting his talent. He is coming off a solid performance in the Valspar Championship where going against his caddies advice cost him the tournaments.

It’s those brain-fade shots that make Rahm exciting to watch but with that comes great ability, as he showed in the 2018 Masters. Rahm finished fourth behind Patrick Reed and was only four shots off the lead at -11 when he finished his 72 holes.

With that experience under his belt, Rahm looms as a 2019 Masters Top 10 pick. He’s +1800 to win the tournament and bettors should expect odds of around +300 for a top-10 result.

2020 Masters Upset Tip – Webb Simpson

Webb Simpson has been playing well this season in what has been a resurgence from the American. A string of good performances in the BMW Championship (T6), Tour Championship (T4) and RSM Classic (3rd) should see Simpson around the leaderboard.

The 33-year-old has proven his class on the big stage when winning the 2012 US Open and 2018 Players Championship. He knows what it takes to grind out a 72-hole performance and we don’t mind his chances of winning at Augusta.

Simpson is paying +8000 with bookmakers and that’s worth taking at the value odds.
