NBA Predictions, Picks & Preview – Bucks vs Raptors Game 6

We have NBA Predictions for Game 6 between the Milwaukee Bucks vs Toronto Raptors on Saturday May 25.

The Raptors took a 3-2 lead after being the Bucks in Milwaukee and now they return home to close out the series.

It was the first road win of the Eastern Conference finals and it couldn’t have come at a better time for Toronto. They’re now favored to win Game 6 and the series on Saturday.

Our NBA Predictions look at the form and latest news from both the Bucks and Raptors ahead of Game 6 in Toronto.

Milwaukee Bucks Form & News

The Bucks are in do-or-die mode and it will be interesting to see how they respond. They weren’t expected to lose Game 5 and after leading 18-4 early, even more so.

However, the Raptors have found a way to defend Giannis and the Bucks’ supporting cast isn’t good enough to carry the load. If the Bucks are going to win Game 6, Giannis will need to trust his teammates to make the open shot – something he hasn’t done yet.

We’re not putting the blame solely on Giannis, because he’s clearly the best player in the Bucks team. We are, however, stating that he needs to change his formula in order to score on the Raptors.

Kawhi Leonard is one of the best defenders in the league and the Greek Freak has had no answer.

“I’m not going to lie to you,” Antetokounmpo said. “We’ve got two more games to go and we can do this… We’re the best team in the league, man.

“If we lose, we lose. OK, cool. But we’re not going to fold as a team. That’s not what we do.”

We don’t think the Bucks will fold either, but beating the Raptors at home isn’t going to be an easy task.

Toronto Raptors Form & News

We had a feeling the Raptors would keep Game 5 close but we didn’t expect them to come away with the victory. It was a terrific effort from a team that had fallen under the radar.

There were questions about the fitness of Kawhi Leonard, but the man is a machine and keeps powering through. Leonard, despite injuring his leg in Game 4, has continued to look good.

It’s obvious that he’s less explosive but he can still make clutch shots and defend. It also helps when players such as Lowry, Van Fleet and Gasol are making shots.

“Just got to give credit to my teammates,” Leonard said. “They knocked down shots when I gave it to them, and I’m not a guy that really controls the ball the whole game.”

Online bookmakers have the Raptors as –2.5 favorites for this game and it’s hard to disagree with that line.

Bucks vs Raptors Game 6 NBA Predictions

Our NBA Predictions see the Toronto Raptors progressing to the NBA Championship Finals.

They have figured out how to beat this Bucks team and it’s by playing as a team. They are a cohesive unit and there’s no outlandish personalities on the team.

The Bucks look frustrated that Giannis can’t drop 40 points against this defense and that’s putting the ultimate pressure on them.
