NBA Playoffs Monday – Bucks vs Pistons

Bucks vs Pistons

The Bucks vs Pistons Game 4 is expected to be one-way traffic for Milwaukee, who are seeking their first NBA Playoff series win in 18 years.

Holding a 3-0 advantage, it’s seemingly only a matter of time for the Bucks, but the Pistons could fire up in front of their home crowd on Monday.

Check out our NBA Tips for all other playoff games.

Milwaukee Bucks Form

The Milwaukee Bucks are playing some fantastic basketball in the 1 st round of the NBA playoffs. They ride a three-game winning streak coming into Game 4 after scoring a 119-103 win over Detroit on Saturday.

Despite being behind for a portion of the game, the Bucks came through with a big second half and their defense was the talking point once again.

Most bettors know how well the Bucks can score – they have scored an average of 120 points per game during the playoffs, but their defense has stood up. Pistons have scored only 86, 99 and 103 points so far.

That sort of sturdy defense will not only benefit the Bucks in Game 4, but also for the rest of the playoffs. Having a 27-14 record away from home is their biggest asset moving forward and they’re going to be tough to beat here.

Detroit Pistons Form

We regarded the Pistons to be lucky to make it into the playoffs and we’re seeing why. Despite the return of Blake Griffin in Game 3, the Pistons weren’t able to muster much.

The problem with Detroit is that they play two big men and don’t have many scorers. Andre Drummond and Blake Griffin play an “old school” style of basketball, which isn’t all too common in 2019.

They’re not an attractive team to watch and it doesn’t come as a surprise to many bettors that sports bookmakers have made them a +750 underdog for this game. We can’t see how the Pistons are going to improve enough to turn the tables on the Bucks and another loss should be recorded for the Pistons.

Bucks vs Pistons Betting Trends

  • Pistons have yet to win against the Bucks this season (0-7).
  • Pistons are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games playing on 1 days rest.
  • Bucks are 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 games following an ATS win.
  • Bucks are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 Monday games.

Bucks vs Pistons Betting Tip

We want this to be a competitive game between the two Eastern Conference teams on Monday, but that’s unlikely to happen.

Bucks vs Pistons hasn’t been an overly competitive series to date and although Detroit looked a little better in Game 3, the Bucks reeled them in rather easily.

Bookmakers have set the line at 12.5, which could make this a tough decision for bettors. We’re expecting this game to be finishing close to that line but we are ultimately sticking with the Bucks.

Milwaukee has too many offensive weapons and Giannis Antetokounmpo is a one-man wrecking crew.

Don’t bite on the –1200 in the straight up market, but make a play on the Bucks –12.5.

Tip: Bucks –12.5 (-101)
