Toronto Raptors Form & News
The Toronto Raptors looked great in Game 5 when scoring an emphatic 125-89 win at home. They now travel back to Philadelphia in search of a series win.
Raptors have now scored over 100 points in consecutive games and three times in this series. They have won all three of those games. Raptors scored only 95 and 89 points in two losses.
Scoring power is key for this game and the man leading the way is Kawhi Leonard. He’s averaging 26.6 points per game and is looking like one of the best players in the game.
There’s no doubting he is and he’s the key for the Raptors chances of progressing, but it’s a team effort. Kyle Lowry, who has had mixed reviews this season, also believes it’s a team effort.
“We needed for everyone to play well,” said Lowry, following their Game 5 win. “Not individually, but just more of a team, well-rounded game, when everyone played well, everyone played together, everyone worked.”
Pascal Siakam picked up a calf injury in Game 5 but he’s listed as probable to play.
“It’s my calf, and it’s my hamstring, so it’s both combined,” Siakam told reporters. “It’s going to need some rest, but we don’t have time… so I just have to do my best to make sure when game times comes I’m ready.”
Siakam has been a force during the NBA Playoffs and there’s no doubting he’s one of the most improved players this season. If he plays well, expect the Raptors to close out this series.
Philadelphia 76ers Form & News
Despite only being one game down in this series, it seems as though the 76ers have fallen apart at the seams.
Questions are now being raised about the fitness of star center Joel Embiid, who has struggled with both injuries and illness throughout the playoffs.
Embiid is been struggling to score in the latter games of the Raptors vs 76ers series, which has hurt his team. He has had one good game but the rest have been only passable performances.
“Like I said before, we’re going to ride or die with big fella,” Jimmy Butler said about Embiid. “Everybody around this locker room knows that, everybody in the world should know it, the fans should know it. We’ll be just fine, we’re going to keep doing what we’re doing, encouraging him to keep battling through all injury, through all sickness and we’re here with him.”
To compound his ineffectiveness close to the rim, having Ben Simmons also in the paint isn’t helping. Simmons can’t shoot and he refuses to do so. That means the 76ers have two bodies taking up the paint who can’t be effective.
However, the 76ers do have some good outside shooters which can get hot at any given time. The likes of J.J Reddick and Jimmy Butler will need a big game if they’re hoping to stay alive in the series.

Raptors vs 76ers NBA Predictions Game 6
BetOnline has the Raptors as two-point favorites and that line is tough to go past. Toronto has looked the better team and there are too many negatives around the 76ers.
We’re expecting the bookmakers’ line to get around the –4 mark in favor of Toronto, so jump on Raptors –2 whilst it lasts.
