NBA Predictions, Picks & Preview – Raptors vs Bucks Game 2
We have NBA Predictions for Game 2 between the Toronto Raptors and Milwaukee Bucks on Friday May 17.
Game 1 was certainly an interesting contest as the Raptors looked to have the clear advantage throughout. That was until Kawhi Leonard went cold and the Bucks got hot.
The fourth quarter was telling for both teams and it sets us up for a classic Game 2 showdown in Milwaukee on Friday.
Our NBA Predictions look at the form and latest news from both the Raptors and Bucks for the all-important Game 2.
Toronto Raptors Form & News
Kyle Lowry finally turned up when it counted, unfortunately, his Raptors teammates missed the memo. Leonard had a massive third quarter but was seen gasping for air on the bench.
That wasn’t going to be a good sign coming into the fourth quarter and it wasn’t. Leonard went missing and it was up to Lowry to take the brunt of the offensive production.
Lowry did a great job of that, but we’re not sure why Leonard wasn’t given more rest when the Raptors held a significant advantage. Having players fresh down the stretch is always preferred and the Bucks coaching staff showed Nick Nurse a thing or two.
However, Game 2 gives the Raptors a chance to take home court advantage away from the Bucks. This series could all change with one win and the Raptors must keep that in mind.
For the Raptors to win, they’ll need to play as a cohesive unit and have all their stars making shots.
Milwaukee Bucks Form & News
How did the Bucks win Game 1? Toronto’s defense on Giannis was top notch for most of the game.
What the Raptors didn’t account for was someone like Brook Lopez getting hot from the three-point line. Lopez was the key for the Bucks, but the success of this team still lies with their superstar.
Giannis was heavily defending throughout the game. On some occasions, the Raptors crowded the paint with three or four players to stop the Greek Freak from scoring. That enable Giannis to be a passing big and it worked well.
Despite being down for the majority of the game, bettors never felt out of it. Bucks –5.5 looked out of the equation at one stage but the Bucks rallied and held home court advantage.
One thing Giannis did well was get to the free-throw line. He put pressure on the defense to come up with the correct decision. Stopping the clock was vital for the Bucks down the stretch.

Raptors vs Bucks Game 2 NBA Predictions
Our NBA Predictions are tipping the Milwaukee Bucks to win Game 2 but not cover the spread.
Bucks were lucky the Raptors got tired in the fourth quarter, otherwise they could be down 0-1 in the best of seven series.
Toronto will welcome the day off to recover and they clearly felt the seven-game series against Philadelphia.
We’re also expecting Kawhi Leonard to be more productive.
