NBA Finals Predictions, Picks & Preview – Raptors vs Warriors Game 4

We have NBA Finals Predictions for Game 4 between the Toronto Raptors and Golden State Warriors on Friday, June 7.

Raptors took the 2-1 series advantage when winning in Golden State on Wednesday. That came against an injury-ravaged team and with Durant still missing, does Golden State have anything left?

Kevin Durant has been ruled out of Game 4 and Klay Thompson is likely to play. Is Thompson’s inclusion enough? Or will Toronto head home with a significant 3-1 advantage?

These questions will all be answered on Friday night.

Our NBA Finals Predictions look at the form and latest news from both the Raptors and Warriors.

Toronto Raptors Form & News

It was a mammoth team effort from the Raptors in Game 3. We said the likes of Kyle Lowry, Pascal Siakam and Danny Green would have to help Kawhi Leonard and that they did.

The game turned when Danny Green made three three-pointers within a couple of minutes and that was enough for the Raptors. They built off that momentum and ended up burying the Warriors convincingly.

“We haven’t really had a good team shooting night, and I knew eventually at some point we were due for one,” Green said. “We still have to do a better job defensively on that end of the floor to limit those guys better so we don’t have to rely on our offense or our shooting to win us games.”

Green mentioned the Raptors defense, but we saw nothing wrong with it. Apart from Steph Curry, who was always going to score big, the Raptors did a great job at limiting the support crew.

The likes of Draymond Green and DeMarcus Cousins were ineffective over the course of the night and that was because of great defense.
If the Raptors can perform in a similar fashion, they should go close to winning Game 4.

Golden State Warriors Form & News

With the exception of Steph Curry, the Warriors were dreadful in Game 3 and they should be hanging their heads in shame.

Draymond Green and DeMarcus Cousins were particularly poor as they had no paint offense. It was a tough watch if you backed the Warriors, luckily our NBA Finals Predictions had the Raptors with the points.

Curry went off with 47 points but he was the only noted scorer on the court for the Warriors. He was sorely missing Klay Thompson, but not just on the offensive end.

“People fall in love with his shooting,” Curry said. “But that way that our team plays defensively and the chemistry that we have and the experience, he’s right at the forefront of that. So you would love to have him out there on that end of the floor as well.”

Golden State can rely on Curry to have another offensive explosion but they’ll need someone else to perform. It’s most likely to be Thompson, but just how fit is he?

Raptors vs. Warriors Game 4 NBA Finals Predictions

Our NBA Finals Predictions sees the Raptors covering the points spread.

Bookmakers have set the Game 4 line at 5.5 points, which is only a half-point less than Game 3.

There’s not that much between these two teams when healthy, but with Steph Curry the only healthy scorer for Golden State, we simply can’t take them to cover the spread.
