Buffalo Bills Form
Buffalo may have found a way to win in Week 1, but it was far from a flawless performance. The Bills turned the ball over four times, including a pick-six thrown by quarterback Josh Allen in the first quarter.
They also gave up two points on a safety and were trailing 16-0 late in the third quarter. But Allen was able to rally the troops late and deliver a comeback win that could be huge for Buffalo with a rather manageable schedule early in the season.
If you can forget about the four turnovers, the Buffalo offense actually had a good day. The Bills racked up 370 yards of offense and only allowed Allen to be sacked once.
The Buffalo Bills won. That's it. That's the tweet.

The young quarterback seemed to have good chemistry with new wide receivers John Brown and Cole Beasley. Buffalo brought in the two veterans with the hope that they would help the development of Allen in his sophomore campaign, and that plan appears to be working after one week.
Of course, it was the Buffalo defense that was the real star of the team’s win over the Jets. Remember, the Buffalo offense gave eight points away, so the Buffalo defense only gave up eight points to a Jets offense that reloaded during the offseason with Le’Veon Bell and Jamison Crowder.
The Bills did a nice job of containing Bell and limiting Sam Darnold to just 175 yards passing. More importantly, they sacked the New York quarterback four times to help put a stop to any promising drives.
New York Giants Form
Unfortunately for the Giants, their season opener didn’t go particularly well. The G-Men were out-played and out-classed by the Cowboys in a 35-17 loss.
The Giants actually went up 7-0 early in the game, but it was all Cowboys after that, as Dallas scored 35 of the next 38 points in the game. On the bright side, that was one of the more difficult games the Giants are likely to play this season, and their schedule the rest of September will allow them the opportunity to get back on track.
Despite only scoring 17 points, the New York offense had a good day. The Giants averaged nearly nine yards per rush on the ground, as Saquon Barkley gained 120 yards on the ground despite only getting 11 carries.
For about eight minutes, the New York Giants looked pretty great. Then there were more minutes. #sportsball

Also, Eli Manning was only sacked one time, as he had the time to throw for over 300 yards. That’s a good sign that the Giants have improved their offensive line from past years when it was the team’s biggest liability.
However, the New York defense had a bad day. It’s not every day that Dad Prescott passes for over 400 yards and four touchdowns, but that was exactly what happened in Week 1. To be fair, the Dallas offense has a nice collection of skill players.
But the Giants failed to put any pressure on Prescott, who was sitting comfortably in the pocket while completing 25 of his 32 passes.
Even without Ezekiel Elliott making much of an impact, the Giants had a world of trouble keeping the Dallas offense under wraps.
Buffalo Bills vs. New York Giants head-to-head
While the Bills and Jets play twice a year, meetings between the Bills and Giants are far less common. The most memorable game between the two teams came in Super Bowl XXV when Buffalo kicker Scott Norwood missed a last-second field goal to give the Giants the win.
The Bills and Giants have met just seven times since that Super Bowl with the most recent game being in 2015.
For what it’s worth, the Giants have won four of their last five head-to-head meetings with Buffalo.
Buffalo Bills vs. New York Giants NFL Week 2 Predictions
This is a rather intriguing matchup in Week 2. The Giants showed some promise offensively last week but will face a Buffalo defense that dominated the Jets.
On the other side of the ball, the Buffalo offense was sluggish a week ago but now gets to play a New York defense that looked atrocious in Week 1.
The difference is that the Bills proved that they could move the ball when they weren’t turning it over.
Look for Buffalo to get the turnovers under control in Week 2, allowing them to win and cover the 2-point spread against the Giants.
