After snapping a seven-game losing streak with a win over the Golden Knights the Sharks were back to their losing ways in their last game with a 5-3 loss to the Calgary Flames.

Jacob Markstrom (28-22-9 2.76 GAA) was solid in between the pipes in the game stopping 38 of 40 shots and Vancouver had lost his previous two starts where he gave up eight goals.
Elias Pettersson leads the Canucks in points and assists and is tied with Bo Harvat for the team lead with 27 goals, but he has not scored a goal in his last eight games and only has one assist in his last four games. After scoring three goals in two games Horvat has not lit the lamp in his last five games.
