EPL Betting Tips, Preview & Predictions – Final Day

We have EPL Betting Tips & Previews for the final day action this weekend. Featured games include Brighton vs Manchester City, Leicester City and Liverpool vs Wolves.

This compelling and fascinating Premier League season will finally come to a close on Sunday, and only one of Liverpool or Manchester City can take the top honour.

City will be in control and will know that a win will secure them the title. Meanwhile, if City drop points; Liverpool could pounce but realistically only a win will do at Anfield against Wolves.

The destination of the title is the only thing that remains up for grabs; with Chelsea effectively securing their top four space last weekend, and Cardiff’s relegation to the Championship was confirmed with a home defeat against Crystal Palace.

Brighton vs Manchester City Predictions

City will travel to the Amex to face an already-safe Brighton team knowing that three more points will secure their first ever consecutive league championship. The Citizens have been in exceptional form in the Premier League, and their 13 straight wins in a sign of the quality that this team has; both mentally and skill.

Defending a championship is always harder than winning one, and this triumph by City will be right up there with their 100-point success last season.

You would struggle to find anybody that could find a practical reason as to how City lose this game. Brighton have been very disappointing since Christmas and were hugely fortunate that Cardiff lacked the ability to score goals.

They have next to no chance of producing a shock result here, and City will be crowned champions with an emphatic win.

Leicester City vs Chelsea Predictions

Leicester was excellent defensively for 70 minutes against Manchester City before a Vincent Kompany strike from 30-yards out was enough to separate the sides. The appointment of Brendan Rogers has added a new string to the bow that the Foxes have, and they are no longer a counter-attacking side.

The midfield trio of Wilfried Ndidi, Youri Tielemans and James Maddison have tremendous confidence on the ball, and they will be looking to show off their skills once more as the Foxes bring down the curtain on a hugely emotional season at the King Power Stadium.

Chelsea would have been anxiously looking at this fixture a couple of weeks ago and hoping that their race for the top four doesn’t require them to get anything from the game. Fortunately, the Blues have already qualified, as much to the inability of Arsenal and Manchester United, than the quality they have themselves.

It is likely that Maurizio Sarri may use this fixture as a chance to rest a host of first-team players ahead of the Europa League final. However, this game promises goals.

Liverpool vs Wolves Predictions

Jurgen Klopp’s side have enjoyed an excellent season, but their valiant effort could be in vain unless Brighton cause a massive shock on the final day. In truth, they couldn’t have picked a worse opponent for the last day of the season, with Wolves having an exceptional record against this season’s top six.

It has been an outstanding return to the top flight for the Midlands side and could see them rewarded with a place in the Europa League next season depending on the FA Cup result between Watford and Manchester City.

Much of this game will depend on the score in the City game. Should City pull ahead in that fixture, then there will be a relaxed atmosphere due to Reds fans succumbing to the second place finish.

However, an early Brighton goal in that fixture could make this a nervy afternoon at Anfield. It has the potential to be a classic end to the season in the Premier League, and Liverpool will ensure they play their part, but it will be close.
