The Premier League is underway, and the second week of action sees the other half of teams play their first home games of the campaign.
The Gunners will host Burnley at the Emirates, and there will be a sense of expectancy in the air as the North London club look for a second win on the bounce.

Expectations at the Emirates have grown considerably over the summer months. After being told that only £45 million was available for transfers fans became concerned that they wouldn’t be able to get near the remainder of the top six.
However, fast forward six weeks and the Gunners spent the third-most in the Premier League and smashed their club-record fee to bring in Nicolas Pepe from Lille for £75 million.
The signings of Kieran Tierney and David Luiz also add a layer of defensive structure which the club have been crying out for, and fans are now daring to dream of a top-four finish.
They kicked off the season with a hard-fought win at St James’ Park against Newcastle United, with a moment of magic from Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang the difference between the sides. However, fans will be coming to the stadium on Saturday afternoon hoping to be entertained by Unai Emery’s side.
Burnley also kicked off their season will a resounding win at home to Southampton. Fans had been concerned with the lack of money spent over the summer months and were anxiously awaiting another relegation dog fight.
However, those nerves were put at ease a little with the manner of their performance on the opening day at Turf Moor. The Clarets were held to a goalless draw at the break, with only an excellent Nick Pope save ensuring they weren’t trailing.

The second half was a contracting occasion as a brace from Ashley Barnes and a third added by Johann Berg Gudmundsson ensuring that it was the perfect start to their season. However, a trip to the Emirates could be a trickier assignment to navigate.
Arsenal vs. Burnley head-to-head stats
Unsurprisingly it is the Gunners that hold the clear advantage in the head-to-head, as they have won 53 times compared to Burnley’s 33. There have also been 21 draws between the sides.
The Clarets record is even worse when you consider they haven’t won a league game against the Gunners since 1974, and Arsenal have won the last nine in the Premier League.

The Gunners could hand a debut to David Luiz. However, Rob Holding and Hector Bellerin remain out.
Burnley Team News
Sean Dyche could have a near fully fit squad to choose from, with only long-standing injury concerns Robert Brady and Steven Defour remaining on the sidelines.
EPL Predictions: Arsenal vs. Burnley
This should be a pretty comfortable afternoon at the Emirates for Arsenal. The Gunners have scored eleven goals against the Clarets over the last three meetings, and it’s hard to see anything other than another dominant display for Unai Emery’s side.
Aubameyang will once again get on the score sheet against Burnley in a routine 3-0 win.
