EPL Week 3 Predictions, Preview & Betting Tips: Norwich City vs. Chelsea
The English Premier League is in full swing and we have EPL Week 3 Predictions for Norwich City vs. Chelsea.
The honeymoon period is already over for Frank Lampard at Stamford Bridge, and he will be needing a win sooner rather than later.
A trip to Norwich may not have been his ideal choice, as the newly-promoted side already look to be one of the best attacking teams in the top-flight. But, will Chelsea get that all-important win?

Norwich City Form
It has been a marvellous reintroduction to the Premier League by Norwich City. Despite being thumped 4-1 on the opening day against Liverpool, they were able to recompose themselves to win their first home game against Newcastle United.
The main aspect of both performances was undoubtedly their unique attacking threat. Their attacking prowess could be the deciding factor in their battle against relegation and judging by their win over the Toon, they have the goalscorer that can fire them to safety.
Teemu Pukki scored an excellent hat-trick in their 3-1 win over Newcastle, and questions over whether the Finn will be able to score in the Premier League have quickly been answered. He has already registered four goals in his two outings, and the link-up play between himself and Emiliano Buendia will cause every side in the league problems.
Chelsea should be aware of the threats that Norwich have, but the Blues will undoubtedly feel that they can get at the Norwich defence.
The Canaries defence is weaker than most, but Chelsea’s attacking threat has completely deserted them this campaign so far.
Fans would have been worrying about the loss of Eden Hazard and what he brought to the team, and his impact is only being felt now. The Blues didn’t look like scoring against Leicester last time out and needed a bad mistake from Wilfred Ndidi to get a goalscoring chance.
The team is young, and that means they will be given time to grow. The star of the show last time out was Mason Mount, who scored the goal for the Blues in the 1-1 draw.

This was his first for Chelsea, and the youngster looks set to be crucial in the way Lampard wants to attack. They will need their strikers to hit form soon, as Tammy Abraham is particularly down in form and confidence after missing the decisive spot-kick in the Super Cup.
Saturday will present a chance to change that.
Norwich City vs. Chelsea head-to-head
Chelsea holds the clear advantage in the overall record having won on 22 occasions compared to Norwich’s 14.
There have also been 18 draws in this fixture. Disconcertingly for the Canaries, they haven’t beaten Chelsea since 1994, and the last time they met in the Premier League ended in a 2-1 win at Carrow Road for the Blues.
Norwich Team News
The Canaries will again be without the influential duo of Timm Klose and Christoph Zimmermann. Meanwhile, Onel Hernandez is out until November.
Chelsea Team News
Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Callum Hudson-Odoi remain on the treatment table for Chelsea, but the Blues could welcome back Antonio Rudiger.
EPL Week 3 Predictions: Norwich City vs. Chelsea
This has the potential of being one of the best games of the weekend. Norwich are very rarely involved in dull fixtures, and they won’t change their style of play for the visit of Chelsea.
There could be another top-flight goal here for Teemu Pukki, but Chelsea will salvage a point.
