Leicester City Form

Leicester City would have been disappointed to see their unbeaten run come to an end last time out as they fell to a 1-0 loss at Old Trafford against Manchester United.

Except for an early chance for James Maddison, the Foxes created very little throughout the game and could have lost by more. Regardless, Brendan Rodgers would have been pleased with their early-season performances as they have won twice and drew twice.

They remain the front runners in the race to break into the top six, and their home form will be particularly important if they are to achieve that.

Jamie Vardy has a good record against the top six, and his early-season form of four goals in four games shows that he could have a massive say in which way this result may go.

Tottenham Hotspur

Spurs meanwhile have been inconsistent so far this season, and it was a welcome return to winning ways last time out as they demolished Crystal Palace 4-0.

It was a complete change in performance level from their recent defeat against Newcastle. This time they looked full of ideas in the final third, and there were goals for Heung-Min Son and Erik Lamela to open their accounts for the season.

The international break came at the right time for Mauricio Pochettino as he was able to get players back to full fitness and also integrate new signings into the first-team picture.

Spurs remain in contention for a push for the league title, but they will need to string together a long run of victories for that to be the case.

Leicester City vs. Tottenham Hotspur head-to-head

Spurs hold a dominant record in the overall record between the sides having won on 56 occasions, compared to Leicester 35. There have also been 21 draws in this fixture.

Leicester haven’t beaten Spurs since 2017, and haven’t won away at the North London side since 2016.

Tottenham have won the last three meetings and have scored ten goals in the process. However, the Foxes have also scored five goals over this spell, which shows the fixture could be a high scoring occasion.

Leicester City Team News

Matthew James and Daniel Amartey will be the two players missing for the Foxes.

Tottenham Hotspur Team News

Juan Foyth and Giovani Lo Celso will be missing for Spurs. But, Ryan Sessegnon, Kyle Walker-Peters and Davinson Sanchez could be in contention after returning to training during the international break.

Leicester City vs. Tottenham Hotspur EPL Predictions

This should be an exciting fixture between two sides that could easily finish the season in the top-six. Both teams possess attacking players that could make a difference, and there could be at least two goals for each side.

It looks difficult to see past a score draw.
