Cormier vs. Miocic UFC 241 Preview
Daniel Cormier is one of the greatest and most underrated UFC fighters of all time. He’s 40 years old with a record of 22-1-0 and is still fighting at the top of his game.
The Louisiana native got into the position of having both the light heavyweight and heavyweight titles having beaten Anthony Johnson at UFC 210 and Miocic at UFC 226.
He defended his heavyweight title when beating Derrick Lewis via Round 2 submission at UFC 230 in November. Cormier hasn’t fought since but he’s not a fighter that needs a lot of Octagon time to be fit.
On the other side of the coin, Stipe Miocic was a shock loser to Cormier and he looks primed for revenge. The Croatian has had over a year to think about that loss but the former champion has class on his side.

Miocic was the long-running heavyweight champ and picked apart a division which was lacking any real star power. That was until Daniel Cormier challenged Miocic despite rising up in weight grade.
Cormier is giving 13cm in height to Miocic but as soon as one of his punch’s lands, it doesn’t matter about size.
Whether or not Cormier, with his 19cm reach disadvantage, can get inside of Miocic this time around remains to be seen. However, we wouldn’t be overlooking the chances of the current champion.
Bookmakers have Cormier as the –140 favorite and that’s fair given the last time they met.
Cormier vs. Miocic UFC 241 Predictions
The natural inclination for bettors might be to go for Daniel Cormier, but we’re smelling an upset this Saturday.
Revenge is a big factor in the UFC and we feel as though Stipe Miocic has more to lose from this fight. Cormier is at the tail-end of his career and Miocic still has some years left.
A loss for Miocic would dent his confidence and we’re unsure if he’d return to the Octagon following consecutive losses to Cormier.
One thing is for sure… this fight is going to be epic and UFC fans won’t be disappointed regardless of who wins.
However, we’re in the business of making money and our UFC 241 Predictions see Miocic landing a big punch for a KO victory.

Pettis vs. Diaz UFC 241 Predictions
The return of Nate Diaz is likely to be an explosive one as he takes on former UFC Lightweight champion Anthony Pettis in the co-main event.
Pettis last fought in March when beating Stephen Thompson (14-4-1) with a second-round knockout. It was a statement win for the 32-year-old who has plenty more fights in store in the UFC.
He’s a fighter that has always taken on the very best. He defeated Michael Chiesa at UFC 226 before being beaten by Tony Ferguson at UFC 229.
“Showtime” is the narrow favorite with bookmakers and that’s largely due to the fact we haven’t seen Nate Diaz fight since 2016.
— Nathan Diaz (@NateDiaz209) May 28, 2019
It has been a long layoff for Diaz, who took Conor McGregor to a decision at UFC 202 in August, 2016. The trash-talking 34-year-old is back in the Octagon and it’s hard to know what to expect from him.
He’ll either come out looking rusty or coming out with a full head of steam. It’s not in the Diaz DNA to come out with anything less than 100% and that’s why bookmakers are respecting his talent.
However, Pettis is a form fighter and he’s the more professional with 22 wins and eight losses compared to 19 and 11 for Diaz.

Romero vs. Costa UFC 241 Predictions
This is an intriguing fight between an experience Yoel Romero and a potential rising star in Paulo Costa.
Romero is a 42-year-old fighter with a record of 13-3 and a long history of injuries. This fight was meant for UFC 230 but he had to pull out.
Paulo Costa is an undefeated fighter (12-0) who scored a knockout win over Uriah Hall at UFC 226. That thundering knockout sent a message to the “old heads” in the middleweight division.
Not much would put fear into the eyes of Yoel Romero, but he’s not a spring chicken anymore and he could have met his match. Costa could be the next big thing in this division and he’s paying good odds for this Saturday.
Bookmakers are offering +135 for Paulo Costa and that’s well worth the risk.
